This reserve is a part of the National Park of Ankarafantsika which stretches over 130,026 hectares and which has lots of circuits for the discovery of a set of fauna and flora whose luxuriance is due to the high pluviometry. There are plenty of medicinal plants such as the carphaléakirondron which is particular as it resists bushfires.

However, before leaving, we will take our time to visit the Reserve of Ampijoroa in daytime so as to see the brown lemurs frisking around their natural environment. On our arrival in Majunga, we will immediately go to the sacred Lake of Mangatsa. This lake in which sacred eels and carps are moving smoothly is a place where ancestral cults are performed.
